A Journey Into the Stars: Space Exploration in 2026
Have you ever looked up at the night sky and wondered what lies beyond the shining dots? Space has always fascinated humanity. In 2026, our journey into the stars has reached an exciting turning point. With advancements in space technologies, we are closer than ever to understanding our cosmos. Our journey is led by two major forces: robotic explorers and human spaceflights. Mars, our red neighbor, is currently host to several advanced rovers exploring its ancient lake beds. These machines analyze Martian soil, searching for microscopic fossils or water molecules that could prove Mars once supported life. Back on Earth, scientists are planning the Artemis missions, which will return humans to the lunar surface. This time, we aim to build a permanent base, a stepping stone for future crewed flights to Mars. "To look at the stars is always to dream. But today, we are turning those dreams into coordinates and flight plans." Why do we spend so much energy and resources exploring space? The answer lies in curiosity and survival. By studying distant galaxies, we learn about the origins of our own solar system. Moreover, technologies developed for space exploration—such as water purification systems, advanced solar panels, and lightweight materials—directly benefit us on Earth. Space exploration inspires us to collaborate globally, proving that when we work together, even the stars are within our reach. As students, we are the generation that will witness the first footprints on Mars. The future of space is not just for astronauts; it is for the future engineers, scientists, and writers who will document humanity's greatest adventure. Let us continue to look up, ask questions, and dream big.
Whispers of the Wind
I come from the valley where the wild rivers flow, Telling secrets of places that only I know. I dance with the leaves in a golden-brown swirl, And whisper soft greetings to each boy and girl. I carry the scent of the rain-laden clay, And chase the dark clouds of the winter away. Through keyholes of houses I murmur and sigh, Singing lullabies under the starry blue sky. Sometimes I am gentle, a warm summer breeze, Tickling the blossoms and shaking the trees. Sometimes I am mighty, a storm loud and bold, Sweeping the pathways with shivers of cold. But whether a whisper or whether a roar, I guide the free birds as they flutter and soar. The voice of the earth, an invisible guide, Always beside you, wherever you hide.
My Tryst with Colors: A Gallery of Expressions
Art has always been my escape and my expression. Since I was a little child, my fingers gravitated toward crayons, chalks, and paints. To me, a blank white paper is not empty; it is a canvas waiting for a soul. In this feature, I share my journey with watercolor and charcoal medium. Watercolors are beautifully unpredictable. Unlike acrylics or oils, water has a life of its own. It flows, bleeds, and blends in ways that teach me patience. I often paint landscapes of our beautiful school campus or the rural outskirts of Purnea. The reflection of sunlight on wet green grass, or the rustic orange sky of a monsoon evening are my favorite subjects. Each stroke is a conversation between my feelings and the water. Charcoal, on the other hand, is bold and dramatic. With simple black sticks, I can create deep shadows and bright highlights that carry intense emotions. I love sketching faces of people—showing the wrinkles of wisdom in an old farmer's face or the shining eyes of a street child playing. Art is not just about making pretty pictures; it is about telling stories that cannot be put into words. I hope my tryst with colors inspires fellow students to pick up a brush and draw their own worlds.
